We will glaze a photograph onto a plate, together with your wording around the rim. We are often asked to print a photograph onto a plate; there is
a big difference between printing onto a plate and glazing. Printing is not permanent. The process uses a heat press and it is possible to print only in the centre, flat, area of the plate and not around the rim. Glazing is the same process used to decorate your dinner service or coffee mug, the finish is permanent – which is what you need if you are buying an anniversary gift that will become a treasured keepsake.
We can work with any type of photograph, although a digital image is easiest. We will crop the image into a circle to fit the plate. If you want to send the photo for us to look at before you order you can do so – use the form on our Contact page to upload the image.
If you can hold of a copy of the original wedding photograph, send it to us (as a hard copy or scan it) and we will glaze that onto the plate, together with your choice of wording. A great Golden Wedding anniversary gift. We can crop the image into a circle to fit the plate, and we can usually improve the quailty of old photographs.
Our plates are white fine bone china and measure 8 inches/20cm in diameter. A top quality lined gift box is available as an optional extra. There are several plate styles available: plain white, the same plate but with 2 gold or silver bands around the rim, or we can colour the rim blue, pink, or yellow – the latter look good with floral designs but are more popular for our Christening and Birth plates.

Delivery: Your plate is made to order. It will normally be dispatched in 3 working days. Sometimes a plate will not fire properly and we have to decorate another plate; this takes time and should that happen we will let you know.
